The Black Snake Creek Festival is happening September 17 to 24 at the Marburg Community Centre and surrounds.

In 2022, the festival will embrace the theme ‘Umbrellas’ as a nod to the huge amount of rain the region has experienced over the past few months.

The Marburg Art Group has been busy decorating/ painting parasols which will feature as a display in the Green Shed (community centre). These parasols / umbrellas will be for sale throughout the festival.

As part of the festival, local artists are invited to take part in the Art Awards and show, with the awards night on Friday 16 September between 6pm and 9pm. Winners will be announced from 7pm with the people’s choice awarded on Saturday 24 September at 2pm.
