Head to the Ipswich Community Gallery this week to see some of Ipswich’s most fabulous artists come together for the Off the Wall exhibition.

Hosted by Arts Connect Ipswich Inc, Off the Wall features work from the group’s artists, and best of all, if you find something you want to buy, you can take it home right then and there, making it a great place to shop for unique and meaningful Christmas gifts.

“When you buy something from an artist you’re buying more than an object. You are buying a piece of a heart, a piece of a soul and a small piece of someone else’s life,” he said.

Over 40 local Arts Connect artists will showcase their work at the community gallery at d’Arcy Doyle Place.

“It’s at Ipswich community Gallery at d’Arcy Doyle Place. If you want something, you can buy it then and there and literally take it off the wall and home with you.

“There are over 300 pieces of art for sale.”

Artworks include painting, drawing, photography, textiles, jewelry, pottery and craft items. The Ipswich community Gallery will be open daily from 10am to 3pm until 4 December.
