Peter Carey

The Drive Home

Peter Carey has had an extensive career in radio. “During my 30 plus years in the industry, I hosted all genre of programs from talk-back and music to sports, presenting the breakfast show for many years as well as mornings; I even found myself hosting a children’s TV show on WIN TV Toowoomba,” Peter said.

Peter has combined his vast radio experience overseeing his marketing business in a diversity of areas; Education, Health, Not-for-Profits as well as Local, State and Federal Government.

Today, Peter utilises his public speaking skills to compere or acting as MC for numerous events and functions, particularly in the equestrian fields of Paint and Quarter Horses, where he has been the announcer at the Australian Quarter Horse Championships at the AELAC Centre Tamworth for the past 4 years as well as several state shows.

Danny Hoyland

Wake Up with Dr Dan

Respected broadcaster Danny Hoyland joins the team! For 11 years Danny was a familiar voice on Ipswich Radio, and after a brief break in transmission he is back, and he couldn’t be happier.

Danny’s passion and enthusiasm is infectious and he has built a loyal local following over the Ipswich airwaves. Hoyland says “Wake up with Dr Dan”, on Saturdays from 6am to 8am, is radio the way it should be – fun. It’s just me being myself,” he adds. Being online and through the smartphone app means it doesn’t matter where you are, you can listen in loud and crystal clear on digital.
