Get ready, movie lovers — blockbuster season has officially landed, and Ipswich cinemas are rolling out a packed schedule of fresh releases, fan favourites, and magical reboots.

Leading the charge is “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t”, marking the return of the Four Horsemen after a nine-year hiatus. The slick team of illusionists are back with more mind-bending tricks and an all-new cast of young magicians bringing fresh energy to the franchise.

Also hitting the big screen for the first time in cinemas is “Hamilton”, the record-breaking Broadway musical that took the world by storm on Disney+. Demand has been huge, with Gold Class sessions selling out fast — prompting additional screenings to be added for this weekend.

From acclaimed director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Last Night in Soho) comes the thrilling sci-fi action flick “The Running Man.” Based on the hit TV series, it follows contestants — known as “Runners” — as they fight to survive 30 days while being hunted by assassins, all for a growing cash prize broadcast to millions.

In celebration of next week’s highly anticipated “Wicked: For Good” release, fans can relive the magic of Oz with a special re-release of the original Wicked on the big screen.

Then, gather your friends for “Wicked: For Good – Friends for Good Girls Night Out”. Gold Class sessions are already sold out, and XD tickets are flying fast.

And for the family crowd, mark your calendars — “Zootopia 2” tickets are on sale now!

Cinema staff say a major giveaway is coming soon to celebrate the season, teasing:

“Because blockbuster season is hereeeee!”

🍿 So grab your popcorn — it’s showtime in Ipswich!
