The inaugural Mardi Gras-Burg Festival is going to be an all-inclusive event as they strive to create a community that celebrates diversity and champions equality for all! Their motto is “We are more fabulous together” and with this in mind, they want everyone to feel that they are part of a safe, supportive and caring community and free to be their own authentic selves.
The event will be a fabulous, family-friendly, fancy-dress, festival which will be full of colour, sparkle and laughter along with live music on stage, fashion parade, food trucks, information and market stalls, conga line/celebration march, and a variety of wonderful drag queen performers, all while helping to create new connections for those who attend.
The objective is to spread awareness of available services to aid and support all individuals, whilst highlighting the importance of inclusion and celebrating the diversity of the colourful community.
