It was a night of celebration as nineteen of the city’s most incredible residents took part in the 2022 Ipswich Australia Day Awards at the Ipswich Nature Reserve last night.

Senior Citizen Award:
Greg Broad was awarded the Senior Citizen of the Year for over 40 years of volunteering to the community
Young Citizen Award:
The Young Citizen of the Year award went to Tamara Whiting
Citizen of the year:
Our 2022 Citizen of the Year is Dr Zoe Knorre, Clinical psychologist and CEO of Grace Homestead that helps rehabilitate women with children in their care who are suffering from substance use disorder.
Community Event of the Year:
Our Stories, an art exhibition hosted by Arts Connect Ipswich.
