A 79-year-old man has died in a pedestrian incident in North Ipswich. The man was crossing the road when he was hit by a car on David Trumpy Bridge.
He sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The driver, an 85-year-old man, was unharmed and is cooperating with the police. Witnesses or anyone with relevant footage is urged to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is conducting an investigation.
