BREAKING NEWS:

There’s been an update on the sticky tape shortage crisis in the North Pole Wrapping Department. Following meetings with Santa and his department heads, the decision had been made to use gift bags, however, the Wrapping Logistics team have managed to source a new shipment of sticky tape.
Jeffrey Star Elf, night supervisor of the Wrapping Department said the wrapping elves were happy to report they were at full capacity ahead of Christmas Eve and expect to have the final gift wrapped by Thursday night.
LOCAL BUSINESS:
And North Pole Village shopkeepers have celebrated a big shopping night with locals stocking up on candy canes, gingerbread, eggnog, and tinsel.
SPORTS:
Congratulations to Thunder, the junior reindeer who took out the gold for short range flying over the weekend at the Mini Reindeer Games. Thunder, who is the daughter of Blitzen, says she is training hard and one day hopes to be on Santa’s sleigh team.
In other local sports news,it was a big weekend in North Pole Village with the archery, elf hockey and junior reindeer games all taking place
Skittle Picklesleigh has taken out gold in the annual Archery in the Square competition while Cookie Sprinkles took silver and Glory Snowcicle took out bronze.
And after a close game, The Holly Jolly Jumbucks have claimed victory at the Elf Hockey at the North Pole Superdome Skate Rink on Saturday
DEPARTMENT OF REINDEER HEALTH AND WELLBEING:
Santa’s Reindeer are preparing for Christmas Eve with celebrity reindeer chef, Chef Oats, revealing the traditional reindeer diet in the lead up to Christmas Eve.
Chef Oats said he and his team were preparing a special blend of muesli, fruit and grains for breakfast, a high protein lunch of roast carrots and greens, and a hearty dinner of slow cooked brussels sprouts, pumpkin and potato in a rich sauce.
According to Chef Oats, this diet gives the reindeer plenty of protein and nutrients which are essential given the distance they’ll be flying on Saturday night.

And to entertainment news, Tinsel Twinkles and the Sparkles have just released their brand new single, Frosty Flamingos. Fans can now download the latest hit on Snowify, iSnow or Candy Play.
Don’t forget, the North Pole Orchestra will be holding peformances each day at the North Pole River Rotunda from 11am.
