Halloween is on its way and there’s plenty of ghoulish fun to be had around the Swich. From creepy artworks to scary celebrations, harrowing haunted houses and mesmerising mayhem – there’s something for everyone this month in our BOO-tiful city!

A spooky celebration of art inspired by local encounters with the supernatural.

Ipswich has an abundance of local urban legends surrounding our numerous mines, haunted asylums and eccentric founding figures. Whose ghosts may or may not be responsible for some serious bumps in the night. these are being unveiled and revealed by local artists this halloween.

Art displayed by Ipswich’s award winning and professional artists alongside the emerging creatives, submitting specially created pieces to tell the story of what goes on during in Ipswich in the witching hour.

It’s a monster mash!

Enjoy a fab-boo-lous night of zombie beats and monster mash at the spook-tacular Halloween disco. Little ghosts and goblins can dance the night away with Poppy from Trolls and roving ghouls and enjoy a range of fang-tastic activities, including Mad Scientist workshop and trick or treat.

Spooky, scary and supernatural fun at the Ipswich Showgrounds

Get the Ghouls together for a fang-tastic night at Ipswich Show’s Halloween Spooktacular.

With fa-boo-lous entertainment, wicked sideshow alley, bloodcurdling Haunted House, monster disco, best dressed competition, and spooky vendors offering ghoulish delights and devilish dishes to sink your fangs into. Your little monsters will have a hoot.

Shake the webs off your broomsticks for an evening of frights and fun!
