The Goodna Jacaranda Festival, a much-loved community festival held amidst the majestic Jacaranda trees in Evan Margison Park Goodna , is back on Friday 27, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October 2023, with three action-packed days and nights of family fun, food and celebrations.

Created in the late 1960s by local schools as a fundraising endeavour, the annual Jacaranda Festival offers rides, loads of food trucks, live entertainment, community groups, competitions and a whole lot more, in a fun and family friendly celebration.
Did you know…
The program for the 1967/68 Festivals included:
- A ball with special guest, TV personality Annette Alison
- A baby show judged by Bill Hayden
- And a Jacaranda Queen competition with the winner appearing on the float which led the Grand Parade of Floats.
What’s on at the 2023 Jacaranda Community Festival?
Friday 27 October 2023
3:00 – 5:30pm Come and enjoy a relaxing Friday afternoon with our amazing local school bands and choirs performing on stage.
6:00pm – 6:30pm Opening Ceremony features the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dance Company.
6:30pm – 9:00pm The community festival continues into the evening.
9:00pm – Fireworks
