Halloween is set to light up the big screen at Limelight Cinemas this week, with a mix of spooky classics, sing-along fun, and all-night movie marathons.
Speaking on West Bremer Radio’s Limelight Cinemas Podcast, cinema representative Lex shared the lineup of Halloween-themed screenings and the week’s big new release, Good Fortune.
The comedy film, starring Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, and Keanu Reeves, follows a guardian angel’s mission to teach a struggling filmmaker lessons in gratitude and love.
“It’s a feel-good comedy, but with the classic Seth Rogen humour — a bit of chaos, a bit of heart,” Lex said.
As Halloween approaches, Limelight is going all out with themed screenings. Fans of the Netflix hit K-Pop Demon Hunters can enjoy a sing-along session on the big screen, complete with costumes and audience participation.
“Come dressed as your favourite characters, sing loud, and even dance along — no one’s going to tell you to shush!” Lex said.
For horror fans, the original Scream returns to cinemas for one night only, offering a dose of 90s nostalgia. Meanwhile, Twilight devotees can sink their teeth into a full overnight marathon, starting at 8pm on Saturday and running through to Sunday morning.
“Some fans even plan their naps around the movies,” Lex joked. “The Twi-hards are next-level.”
Tickets for all Halloween sessions, including Good Fortune, are available now at limelightcinemas.com.au.
Lex also teased next week’s show, hinting at exclusive insights from a major movie convention.
“I’ve got a few secrets up my sleeve — as much as my NDA allows,” she laughed.
