First of all, we’re going to talk about that The Garfield movie starring Chris Pratt and Samuel L. Jackson and Alexis. I feel like I should have opened just then with like meow.

Good meowning. No, I’m glad you didn’t. You’re so welcome. I just did anyway. I think that’s a bit of the action that you’re going to see on the big screen this week with Garfield. Of course we have the Monday hating, lasagna loving our favourite feline friend Garfield who is being voiced by Chris Pratt who we recently saw last year in Super Mario Brothers as Mario himself.

Um, which we’ve also got, uh, joining us is Vic Garfield’s dad, long lost father who dumped him on the doorstep of, um, his human who currently looks after him and has come back to reunite and go on a- What’s the human’s name? Badass adventure. John. I remembered. I’m good at this. I’m good at my job sometimes. Um, we did have a Sony foundation, um, charity screening of this over the weekend.

We’ve had such fantastic responses from the everyone enjoyed it. There were so many giggles happening in that cinema. It was such a fun time for both adults and kids, for those of us who have grown up with Garfield and those who are only just being introduced to the world of Garfield and all of the hairballs and the delightful things that come with them. Garfield had to say hairballs. There’s always a Hebel. There’s cats involved. How’d you breakfast?

Now we’ve got an American in Paris, the musical. Of course, this has got an all star cast as well.

Yes, now we’ve been running our musical seasons for a little while now, and this is the second last of our musical seasons. So American in Paris from tomorrow, just for special screenings for tomorrow, and then our last one, which will be 42nd Street next month. And that will be the end of our musicals, although we do have coming at the end of August, start of September, Andre Rieu is coming back to the big screen. So it is not the end of musicals completely for us in the land of cinemas.

just the end of our world’s greatest musical seasons, which we’ve been running for a couple of months now. And we’ve really enjoyed seeing this. We’ve had Titanic back on the big screen. We also got obviously American and Paris and 42nd Street ahead of us. So some really great musicals on the big screen. And I say this every time, it’s the best way to see them. If you’re not going to the real thing, it’s the next best thing. Yeah, it certainly is. And of course, this was a Tony Award winning a Broadway musical.

And, uh, inspired by the Oscar winning MGM film and has some of the great music from George and Ira Gershwin, including swan and I got rhythm. I got music. I got my girl who could ask for anything more. Yeah. Uh, so you’ll be able to go along and hear all of those. Sorry. What was that? They most serenading us. This is my favorite part of the show. Every week. Yeah. Well, I try my hardest. So.

Look, get along and see it. American in Paris, the musical. And that’ll be, when, when’s that on Alexis? We’ve got one special screening tomorrow morning at 10 30 AM. Fantastic. Don’t forget Mad Max Furiosa is in cinemas now as well. And also what we’ve got high queue dumpster battle. Is that it? Yes. High queue dumpster battle. Now we keep getting this mixed up with dumpster fire.

Don’t know myself and our marketing coordinator go, high Q dumpster dumpster dumpster. Nope. Now anime has become such a popular genre. We’ve seen a boy and the heron, which of course comes from the team at studio Ghibli and absolutely huge animation studio. And we’ve also got this week high Q dumpster battle. Now this is an incredibly popular anime coming to the big screen in both subbed and dubbed versions.

And we do have a range of screenings across the whole week. So for those who are coming along for the dubbed versions, obviously English dubbed for those and subbed, we will have subtitles on the screen. Whatever your preference, we find that our anime fans absolutely love the subbed versions because it’s the most authentic, you know, original version of the film, but for our families who do want to come along and see Haikyuu Dumpster Battle, they do prefer it in the dubbed version. So we have a range available right through the weekend.

Um, and for this first relief of the movie release of the movie as well. Also, I, I, Damo, I know you’ve just noted, Furiosa, I have to just note that this movie over the weekend has absolutely gone gangbusters on the audience reviews for this. We, on Saturday morning, I was checking rotten tomatoes and it was sitting at 97% certified fresh on rotten tomatoes. And the critic score was at 89%. And those critics can be pretty harsh. So.

Some absolutely fantastic reviews for the movie. I loved it. I would go and see it again. And I watched it with our brilliant electrician who was helping us with our installation of our laser projectors. And I showed him the first 10 minutes and he goes, I would just, I don’t want to leave now. He, he watched the first 10 minutes. He’s like, so do I have to go to work today? It just looks so great on the big screen. Fair enough. Now taking you back to Haiku, the dumpster battle, what an all star cast.

We’ve got Kaito Ishikawa, Yuki Kaji, Yuichi Nakamura, Haseo Egawa, Koki Uchiyama and Ayumi Murase, who are all starring in this. And the director, by the way, is Susumu Mitsunaka. So if you want to go and see Haiku, the Dumps to Battle. Now you’re just showing off, Damo. Thank you so much. Round of applause, Damo. That was impressive.

We are so excited for this. I actually had noted that most of the games, I think all three of the games are now sold out. So this is the next best thing to get up on the big screen. We are doing tickets at just $10 each and that includes your drink on arrival. Otherwise there is also a $20 package, which includes a drink and hot dog when you come along and watch it on the big screen. Of course, our bar will be open right through the screening as well to catch all the action on the big screen. Fantastic. Instead of just booking for the first game, why not book for three games?
