Star Wars fans are preparing for a huge week at Limelight Cinemas with the release of The Mandalorian and Grogu, accompanied by exclusive collectable popcorn merchandise and special midnight screenings.
Cinema staff say excitement around the latest Star Wars release has been building rapidly, with many fans binge-watching the Disney+ series ahead of the film’s arrival. The movie officially launches with a midnight screening beginning at 12.01am on Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Limelight team member Robbie said anticipation for the release has been enormous, with staff and customers alike counting down to opening night.
Among the major drawcards are the limited-edition popcorn holders themed around the film, including a Grogu collectible bucket and a large AT-AT-inspired popcorn container that is expected to be highly sought after by collectors and Star Wars enthusiasts.
The cinema says stocks are limited, particularly with midnight sessions expected to attract dedicated fans eager to secure the merchandise before it sells out.
