High Tea for Two
Relive the romance of rail and indulge in high tea for two.
Looking to rekindle the flames? For many, train journeys evoke a sense of nostalgia and romance stemming from a bygone era. This Valentine’s Day, visit The Workshops Rail Museum and book a High Tea for Two.
Be captivated by steam trains, travel back in time on Platform 9 and then sit on the beautiful verandah of the Café where you can savour scones with jam and cream, sandwiches, tea or coffee, iced water and petite sweets.
Costs for high tea are $35 for two plus museum entry. There are two sittings available on Monday February 14, morning tea from 10am – 11.30am and afternoon tea from 2pm – 3.30pm with only eight tables per sitting!

Speed dating
The Racehorse Hotel is offering a special speed dating event just ahead of Valentine’s Day.
On Saturday February 12, book in for Grillhouse Speed Dating, the cost is $25 per head which includes canapes and a drink.
Spots are limited to 10 ladies and 10 men.
It works by giving each person 5 minute dates (10 in total) which include some get to know you prompts to help break the ice.
Any matches on the night will receive a complimentary dinner for two up to the value of $150.
The night starts at 6pm, bookings essential.
Gourmet picnic

Queen Electra DQ is back and will lead the class in how to paint your partner in Moulin Rouge themed drag!

5 Course degustation dinner and lunch
The Cottage Restaurant are bringing back their famous five course degustation dinner for Valentine’s Day, February 14.

Singer/songwriter, Carole Williams, is bringing a soul-filled, powerful collection of songs in a quirky, seductive, dark comedy that breaks all the rules.
Carole wrote The Velvet Lounge during lockdown in Brisbane, Australia.

The Nicholas Street Precinct will turn red this Valentine’s Day in a show of love, hearts, and joy at a Valentine’s Day market. Visitors to Tulmur Place can treat their loved one to fresh flowers and sweets; cookies, cakes, or, macarons on Monday February 14 from 9am-2pm.
