The Ipswich Orpheus Chorale is teaming up once again with celebrated performers Mel and Meg, also known as the Queens of Song, for their new production Lights, Camera, Sing. The show will be staged at the George Hogg Auditorium on Chum Street, Ipswich, on October 18 and 19.

A celebration of movie music, the concert will feature popular songs audiences are sure to know and love, blending the Chorale’s repertoire with the Queens of Song’s acclaimed Grammy-themed show. “It’s a high-energy performance where you’ll hear songs from the big screen that you can sing along to,” organisers said.

Founded in 1969, the Ipswich Orpheus Chorale is one of the city’s longest-running community choirs, with members spanning generations of singers. The group has a strong reputation in competition and performance, regularly appearing at events such as the Queensland Eisteddfod and the annual Brassall Carols.

Tickets for Lights, Camera, Sing are available now via TryBooking or the Ipswich Orpheus Chorale’s website.
