Ipswich residents are returning to regular routines after the festive break, and local wellness expert Loz from Loz Life joined West Bremer Radio’s Breakky Club to share tips for easing back into the new year.

Speaking on the program, Loz emphasized the importance of using the downtime between Christmas and New Year as a reset, encouraging listeners to reflect on the year past and envision what they hope to achieve in 2025.

“As much as I love the freedom of not waking up to an alarm, structure and routine are essential for most people,” said Loz. “Getting back into a schedule allows us to focus on what we want to achieve and start navigating our goals.”

She acknowledged that the first steps of returning to work or daily routines can be challenging but highlighted the rewards of re-establishing structure. “Once I stepped into the studio this morning, I felt ready to go. It’s about capturing those small wins to motivate yourself,” she said.

Loz also debunked fears of post-holiday weight gain, explaining that many clients returning to her for body composition scans were surprised by their results. “The mental break over the holidays has helped people maintain or even improve their results. It’s a reminder that rest is a crucial part of progress,” she added.

To make 2025 a productive and rewarding year, Loz recommended breaking it into manageable four-week goals. “Chunking your year into four-week milestones helps you stay on track and avoid looking back with regret,” she advised.

With positivity and practical advice, Loz left listeners feeling motivated to tackle the year ahead.
