On Tuesday 18 October, Dovetails at 88 Limestone is hosting an exclusive dining event featuring celebrity guest Chef, Ben O’Donoghue and Dovetail’s own Head Chef, Shannon Ellison.

Showcasing the finest in local produce, diners will enjoy delicacies including a Murry Cod ceviche, with a native succulent salad and finger lime and green ant dressing, a wagyu Tataki served with eggplant, mushroom vol au vent, roasted Brisbane Valley Quail, culminating in a dessert designed collaboratively by the two chefs of a lemon posset, roasted Queensland strawberries, balsamic extra Vecchio amaretti and a dropped chocolate tart.

Each chef will create two of the main dishes, each of which is served with carefully selected wines and 4Hearts award-winning craft beers.

Celebrity guest chef, Ben O’Donoghue, is well-known for his numerous appearances on television food and cooking shows including The Naked Chef with Jamie Oliver, The Best on the BBC, Lifestyle Food’s The Best Australia, as well as Drive thru Australia, Tom and Ben’s Singapore and Aussie BBQ Hero.

He also took part in the 2009 Masterchef Australia Celebrity Chef Challenge.

As well as owning his own highly successful restaurants and taking part in television shows all over the globe, Ben has penned a number of bestselling cookbooks including Outdoor: Grill your way around the world, Surfing the Menu, and Surfing the Menu Again.
