Ipswich listeners have a new way to stay informed and entertained on their afternoon commute, with West Bremer Radio launching The Sundown Rundown, airing weekdays from 3pm to 5pm.
Designed to give locals their daily dose of news, sport, and community updates in a fresh and engaging format, The Sundown Rundown marks a return to regular drive-time content for the station.
West Bremer Radio’s Station Manager, Bradley Clarke, said the new show perfectly complements the station’s long-running breakfast programming.
“Our breakfast content has always been a staple of West Bremer Radio, but this show reintroduces dedicated afternoon programming in a brand-new way,” Clarke said.
At the helm of The Sundown Rundown is Zak Caban, a familiar voice to West Bremer Radio listeners. Primarily known for his sports coverage on both West Bremer Radio and West Bremer Sport, Caban is excited to step into the role as the station’s official drive-time host.
“I’ve filled in for Drive multiple times, but now actually getting to own the show will be a challenge I’m looking forward to,” Caban said.
Originally from Cessnock, NSW, Caban has been producing content for West Bremer Media since 2020 and is ready to bring his energy and experience to the Ipswich airwaves every weekday afternoon.
West Bremer Radio listeners can tune into The Sundown Rundown from next Monday (3rd March) to Friday from 3pm to 5pm via the station’s website, app, and smart speaker platforms.
