Booval Fair is turning pink, green, and festive this season, with Wicked giveaways, Christmas parades, and special events for families — including the centre’s first-ever pet photos with Santa.
Centre Manager Carissa and Marketing Manager Rachel joined DJ Sparky and Glenn Smith on Get Your Arts Into Gear on West Bremer Radio to share what’s coming up at the shopping centre in the lead-up to Christmas.
“We’ve teamed up with Limelight Cinemas for a fantastic Wicked movie giveaway,” Carissa said. “We’ve got 10 family passes to see Wicked: For Good — and all you need to do is visit the Booval Fair food court, scan the QR code on our tables, and you’re in the draw.”
The promotion runs for two weeks, with shoppers encouraged to “turn pink and green” for their chance to win.
Santa’s Parade and Christmas Fun
Booval Fair’s Christmas Parade will kick off on Friday, December 6 at 10am, led by Santa, Mrs Claus, and Captain Chris — plus a very special guest: Buddy the centre mascot, who’ll appear in his first-ever Christmas outfit.
Santa will be available for photos daily until December 24, with sensory Santa sessions on select Friday mornings and pet photos on Sunday afternoons from 1pm to 4pm.
“We want every family — and their pets — to be part of the magic,” Rachel said. “It’s about creating moments for everyone, including children who need a quieter experience.”
Shoppers spending $30 or more at specialty stores on December 6 can also claim a free handmade upcycled soap, beautifully wrapped as a Christmas gift.
And that’s not all — Mrs Claus will host a special storytime on Thursday, December 11 at 5pm, featuring the world premiere of a new story all about Buddy, followed by a Morning Tea Storytime on December 15 at 10am, complete with milk and cookies for the kids.
Details for all events and competitions are available at boovalfair.com.au.
