Motorists traversing the Warrego Highway will now encounter new traffic signals at the Bremer River Bridge, signaling the commencement of operations for a median cross over facility designed for oversize over-mass heavy vehicles. These signals will primarily function outside peak traffic hours.
Additionally, welding repair works are currently in progress to ensure the structural integrity of the bridge, aimed at guaranteeing safety for all road users. These repair activities, conducted under strict traffic control measures, are scheduled between 8:30 PM and 5:00 AM from Sunday to Thursday until further notification.
