Limelight Cinemas in Ipswich is gearing up for a massive month, offering moviegoers an array of new releases, advanced screenings, and timeless classics—all at an affordable price.

Returning from the Australian International Movie Convention, Limelight’s own Lex shared her excitement for the cinema’s November schedule. “We saw sneak peeks of almost everything, and there’s so much coming,” she said, hinting at her personal favourite, the beloved family character Paddington. The new Paddington in Peru is set to hit screens January 1, but fans can revisit Paddington and Paddington 2 on select dates leading up to the release.

In the Christmas spirit, Red One, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Chris Evans, and Lucy Liu, opens tomorrow. “Think Jumanji meets Christmas. It’s fun, festive, and full of adventure,” Lex said of the holiday action-comedy where a kidnapped Santa needs rescuing.

The timeless classic Dr. Zhivago returns as part of Limelight’s “Timeless Treasures” series, with screenings on Saturday and Wednesday. Fans of Ridley Scott’s Gladiator can also enjoy advanced screenings of Gladiator 2 on November 13, possibly in the cinema’s newly renovated Gold Rooms, complete with reclining seats.

Harry Potter fans can look forward to a double feature of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2 on November 10. This event wraps up Limelight’s back-to-Hogwarts series, which has drawn large crowds of all ages.

To sweeten the deal, Limelight Cinemas is offering a special $7.50 ticket promotion for November, with four vouchers available for just $30. “It’s a fantastic deal for a month packed with blockbusters,” Lex added.

Tickets and session details are available at Limelight’s website, where patrons can also find information on the ongoing promotion.
