Yeah. Great. Now we’ve had our second meeting with Adrian. Yes.

00:52
And that went really well. We officially kicked off yesterday. Officially, officially. What were you kicking? What kind of bull? Well, no, no. Your shoes, kick off your shoes. Yeah. No, no, we started the meal planning on Sunday and we got into starting to have the meals yesterday. So that was all good. And yeah, it’s going swimmingly at the moment. Yeah, right. Look at all these.

01:22
verbs that you’re using. I know. Kicking, swimmingly, soon you’ll be bringing bins in randomly, won’t you? But Spargy will just be taking them out for no reason. He can bring them back in again. He’ll say, where have you been? I’ll go, I went for a walk and he’ll go, what have you done with demo? Yeah, I know. This is unbelievable. Well, you, you guys have me at you, you planned your meals. I know. Well, and this is- Okay. Yeah. Tell me about that.

01:47
Tell me about meal planning. This has been just another level. And to the point where I actually got just a little bit stressed about it because we’ve never even had to ever plan food before. We’re like, we’ve never, never, ever done that. And actually then going through the recipes and making sure we’ve got everything. I just initially found it a little bit stressful, but so far everything’s here.

02:12
I did go and try and make one of your breakfast muffins, which are in the low carb meal ideas book that you give everyone. And they’re on page, which page? I think they’re page 13. Oh mate, you’re testing me, page eight. Page eight, yeah, sorry, Berry Pancakes are page 13. Yeah, yeah, I know, cause you go straight for them. They’re next on my hit list.

02:39
And, um, so I’m committed on making this batch and there’s no muffin tray. So here’s me thinking, right. Gourmet scrambled eggs. Here we go. That’s my fun story. And you didn’t know the muffin man and you should have. The muffin man! So glad we worked that in. Now, wasn’t there something else you needed to bring logs to task with, Damo? Yes. I, well, my second meeting with Adrian, I said,

03:06
Look, you know, I need to bring it laws to task because I did sit down and watch the video on Sunday. And I did. I watched the video the whole 43 minutes of it. And I sat there watching it. And then I went, she’s talking about Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Yeah, she’s talking about Krispy Kreme doughnuts to a large proportion man. I mean, enjoy that. Well, I would have if I had a Krispy Kreme doughnut McGob.

03:36
You can, we can pretend, we can pretend, but you know what, you’re an adult. Well, yes. Krispy Kremes better than you have to have Krispy Kremes. They’re the poor cousin of Krispy Kremes. But look, the thing is, and as I said to Sparky, I said, it’s not something that we need to get stressed over either. Um, because Adrian summed it up.

04:00
You know, while it’s well, a good to follow the plan. But if you can’t say the other word, he said, no, we can’t. But, you know, if you know, if you’re eating sensibly, you know, then you can still get through and and still accomplish, you know, lots of things on the plan. So if you if you miss something, then you just, you know, get something that’s similar and away you go. Yeah, and it’s all about using a framework.

04:27
Right. But so the most important part of the program for you guys is getting enough food in that’s mainly protein. So getting those protein snacks in. And we talked a little bit before off air about, um, protein shakes or protein bars. Yep. Yeah. We’ve invested in protein bars at the moment. That’s what we’re working through. Yeah. And, and, you know, whatever it is that you’re getting, it’s, it’s making sure that they’re

04:53
quite high in protein. I mean, we do look for certain things in bars and ultimately if you can get a bar that is less than 80 calories per serve and more than 14 grams of protein and less than three grams of carbs, it’s gonna be great. But even if it doesn’t meet all those specifications, it’s still gonna be better than a Krispy Kreme, don’t I? Thank you for bringing that up again, Liz. With the cream, but it’s about just doing the best that we can, right? Because…

05:21
Yeah, all we’ve got to do is make small improvements. And if we stack all these improvements, guess what will happen? Something will change. Yes. Yeah. So, look, I’m feeling good. I’m not feeling hungry at all. Good. So that is is a good thing. I’m enjoying the food that I’m eating because it’s all just stuff you have in the pantry and and in the fridge. And as I said to Sparky, you know, we’ll take it one day at a time. If we fall off the wagon, we get back on the wagon and we keep on going.

05:50
Yeah. And it’s, that’s all it takes, right? It’s just, you know, showing up for yourself every day and being really conscious. And I think for most people, when they start to embark on a journey of like a health kick or whatever, it does feel like a really big task. And it’s about just showing up for yourself every day, being aware of what it is that you’re doing and realizing that you have the capacity to make small changes. You can walk out and bring the bins in. You can have a protein bar. You can have a breakfast.

06:19
Pancakes, scrambled, muffin. Concoction. Yeah, it’s still nice though. It was nice. Yes. But, but you know, the one thing that I, I didn’t realise that this was happening, but I actually look forward to my zoom meetings with Adrian. And I think that gives me accountability as well, because I know I’m going to meet with him and he doesn’t, you know, uh, uh, you know, he’s straight to the point.

06:47
But he’s clear, but he’s also fair. And I think I look forward to that where I’m actually feeling accountable to him to make sure I do this program properly. Yeah, and that’s the great thing about it is it’s not just getting a meal plan off the internet and fending for yourself. Like it’s knowing that you’re going to show up to somebody, a real human, and it’s human contact. I mean, we can get AI, we can talk to AI, but AI isn’t human. And being able to know that you to show up for him.

07:15
rain, hail or shine. Yes. And you, you had to talk through, even if you feel like you, you might have fallen off the wagon that week and that’s okay, but talking to somebody that understands can help you navigate those challenges. And this is what I love about what we offer because it’s, you know, it’s a little bit different to, I guess, what a lot of people are trying to do. And this is why it works. Yes. Yeah. Yes. So we’re looking, we’re excited too, which is fantastic. So, uh, of course, if people want to follow our journey or.

07:44
maybe go on themselves, they can go onto loslife.com and you can find out all about the information about the program, information about LOS and the team and everything else there as well. Listen to podcasts and really get some of that personal coaching and training to help you succeed in your goals, no matter what they are, it could be weight loss, it could be more energy and it could be just living a healthier life.

08:10
Absolutely. And you can find me on social media at laws and to NANCO. You spell it as just say it, start typing in laws, A N T O N and you’ll find me. It’s a big yellow background. Got lots of free information. Some of it’s a bit funny. I’m funny sometimes. Yeah. Some of it’s serious, but yeah, it’s just a great place to start just to get interested in getting healthy, like, like, you know, demo and spark you have. And I’m really proud of you guys for starting. I’m looking forward to next week. Oh, the guy to think about three months time laws. You’ll I’ll be chasing you around the car park.

08:41
