From hilarious Celtic tales to raw blues/rock performances, Aussie singers and songwriters and a new take on the classic story of Aladdin, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Murphy’s Pigs 2023

A big band, a big sound and nearly an acre of suit fabric. This is the award-winning, Celtic-Rock Big Band that the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade is warning everyone about. Throw caution to the wind and embark on a musical journey through the lands of the Celts, as Murphy’s Pigs drags you headfirst into their world of rugged mountains, stormy oceans, fearsome battles, unrequited love and a dram or two of fine whisky.

Their unrehearsed style breathes new life into old favourites and firmly places their unique stamp on contemporary treasures … and some not-too-shabby stuff they’ve written themselves. Mildly humorous onstage banter, an insane number of instruments and robust, manly voices unite to create an experience that will, unfortunately, be seared deep into your memory long after the performance is over. Boisterous chorus songs and lilting ballads compel the tone deaf to sing fervently while spirited jigs, reels and hornpipes spur the uncoordinated out onto the dance floor.

One minute you’re crying into your Guinness, the next minute you’re pouring it over your head with a hearty cheer.

Owen Campbell – Alternate American Blues, Dinner and Show

Australian songwriter and performer Ben Salter is doing a three month tour starting in September and encompassing Japan, Australia & NZ. Accompanying him on stage will be seasoned Tasmanian songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jethro Pickett. They’ll be supported along the way by their friend and neighbour, Warren Mason, a proud First Nations songwriter and founder of Tin Camp Studios. The three of them will drive from Perth to Brisbane in a hire car, via SA, VIC, ACT and NSW. Then Salter and Pickett will continue on to New Zealand.

Owen Campbell is an Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist who has cemented himself as one of Australia’s premier alternative blues/rock exports with 3 best-selling studio albums, 2 EPs, and over 12 years of national and international touring. Owen has built a successful career as a touring musician, wowing audiences in all corners of the world from the USA, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Netherlands, Japan, Hong Kong, India, and even performing at the highest blues festival in the world, The Himalayan Blues Festival in Kathmandu, Nepal.

With his smouldering guitar work, gritty caramel vocals, and sublime rhythm section, Owen’s sound is best described as alternative blues and soulful cosmic rock. Owen’s debut album, “Sunshine Road,” was released in late 2013, reaching Number 1 on the overall charts (Australia), knocking Adele off the top spot in 2014. Soon after Owen released “The Pilgrim” in 2014, “Breathing Bullets” in 2016, and “Rolling Thunder” in 2019, each showcasing his evolving song writing and musical style.

Beyond his chart success, Owen is also known for his powerful live performances, where he showcases his virtuosic guitar playing, including his impressive slide guitar skills, and emotive vocals. He has toured extensively in Australia and overseas, including in the United States, where he has built a dedicated following.

One for the whole family

Aladdin and his magic smartwatch

Aladdin was sick and tired of his boring old lamp, so he traded it for a brand-new Smartwatch!

The smartwatch was great, but it came with a very strange Genie who was always getting things wrong.

Aladdin wished for a really big HOUSE and got a really big MOUSE…What the?

His Mum wasn’t happy either.

Aladdin hasn’t been doing his homework, or his chores. He has become very lazy!

Aladdin plans to make the Genie do all the jobs he doesn’t want to do…including his homework!

Be careful what you wish for Aladdin!
