Calling all local emerging musicians! West Bremer Radio wants to play your music on our brand-new Sounds of the City program!

It’s the radio station that prides itself on staying true to its local roots and is passionate about promoting and supporting musicians from around the Ipswich region.

Kicking off on Thursday 13 October, West Bremer Radio, Ipswich’s number one online radio station, will flip the switch on their brand-new music program – Sounds of the City – which will feature new and emerging local musicians.

No matter what your genre or style, we’re inviting all new musicians from around the city to submit their music and then hear it play LIVE on radio on Sunday afternoons, kicking off in November.

Sounds of the City is all about giving new singers and performers a chance to hear their music played on radio, plus there will be opportunities for musicians to come into the Top of Town studios to play LIVE on the Drive Home with Rach.

There are a few rules; West Bremer Radio is a family-friendly station, so submissions must be free from swearing, discriminatory language, or contain any lyrics that can be seen as offensive.

It’s easy to get your music to us – just head to the webpage at www.westbremerradio.com.au and follow the links to upload your .wav files. Then listen out each Sunday from November!

Simple!

Sounds of the City is open to all ages, genres and styles, so whether you’re an alt-rock garage band, a classical soloist, a choir, a post-punk band…we want to hear from you.
